A Quiet Day at Saint Barnabas

– From 9:30am to 1pm | Sanctuary + Z_o_o_m –

Dr. Elizabeth Ursic leads this Quiet Day

Embracing the Holy Spirit – Led by Dr. Elizabeth Ursic

Join us for our June Quiet Day as we reflect and deepen our lives with the Holy Spirit.  The day will include harp music.
Elizabeth Ursic holds an MDiv from the Yale Divinity School and the Yale Institute of Sacred Music, as well as a PhD in Religious Studies from Arizona State University (ASU). She is a member of St. Barnabas, a spiritual director, a professor of world religions, a musician, and a long-time practitioner of contemplative prayer.

Rest in the peace of God on Quiet Day

The contemplative life is quite simple and accessible to everyone. It is simply the intention to pause, to be still, and, by faith, to rest in Christ’s presence within. Quiet Day includes reflections, quiet, solitary time, and sessions of communal silent prayer in the Sanctuary. Participants are welcome to the Sanctuary, to quiet areas for reading or journaling, or to walk our beautiful grounds. The day concludes with the Holy Eucharist. Please bring your Bible.

Z_o_o_m credentials are sent via email. Not on our mailing list? Contact Ann Hott if you would like to be included. All are Welcome!
