Silence and the Lord’s Prayer

A Quiet Day with The Rev. Jim Clark
Saturday, August 8 at 10am

At Saint Barnabas we are sorely missing in person community but also finding vibrant new and meaningful ways to be together. We are especially pleased to host a Quiet Day in August, a gathering (virtually) for prayer and renewal. How grateful we are to have the opportunity to gather virtually!
Using Zoom as a teleconference platform, these are the details for our day:

The day will consist of two cycles:

20 minute conference with Rev. Jim.
10 minute opportunity for questions from participants.
30 minutes active or silent prayer – each participant at their location
(cycle then repeats)
~~ end of day ~~

The teleconference reservation –  your link to join the gathering on zoom –
will be sent that week, just prior to our day together. Not on our mailing list? Click here to subscribe.

We SO look forward to a morning of quiet and reflection with you. Blessings to you and your loved ones!

Quiet Day includes teaching, quiet solitary time, and sessions of communal silent prayer in the Sanctuary. Participants are welcome to the Sanctuary, to quiet areas for reading or journaling, or to walk our beautiful campus. Come to a Quiet Day for an introduction to what the Contemplative Life at Saint Barnabas might offer you, or to sustain you in that life.  The day concludes with Holy Eucharist. Reflections by Jim Clark. Please bring your Bible. 9:30am – 1pm in the Sanctuary. All are welcome. Learn More about Quiet Days.
