SUMMARY:Respect the Dignity of All: Kids Engaging in Racial Equity
DESCRIPTION:Fall Family Formation Program \nSundays at 8:30am via Zoom | September 13-November 22 \nRegistration Required \nBeginning Sunday\, September 13\, our Episcopal Diocese of Arizona will offer a weekly formation program focusing on storytelling and themes of racial equality\, specifically designed for elementary and middle-school-aged children (grades K-7) and their caregivers. This is a pivotal time for all of us—including\, and perhaps especially\, children— to listen to the stories of people of color and engage in a discussion of what it means to “respect the dignity of every human being” (a quote from the Book of Common Prayer\, p. 305). We will engage in the program via a weekly Zoom session hosted by Ms. Sarah and our Sunday School teachers on Sundays at 8:30am\, during which kids (and their parents\, if so desired) will interact with games\, discussions\, and the occasional craft.
