DESCRIPTION:SANDWICHES FOR EAST VALLEY MEN’S CENTER\nSandwich Week is here again! This is a time where we spend a week of mornings making sandwiches and assembling bag lunches for men who are currently residing at the East Valley Men’s Center in Mesa\, Arizona. Some 75 men live there at a time and are transitioning out of homelessness. \nWe gather in the Saint Barnabas kitchen for only about an hour and put together lunches that one of us then delivers to the center. You can serve by making sandwiches\, bagging up veggies\, chips\, or cookies\, putting each bag together\, and more. It’s a fast\, easy way to make a huge difference in the lives of men who are working hard to get out of a difficult situation. \nBeginning Sunday\, August 1\, we will again be making lunches for the East Valley Men’s Center. Stations will be set up (socially distanced) in Hutton Hall. Please bring your mask (if you forget\, one will be provided). We need volunteers from Sunday\, August 1 through Saturday\, August 7.
