Lee Hughes\, OP \nSaint Barnabas is blessed to host the Diocese of Arizona’s annual observance of the Feast Day of Absalom Jones\, the first African American Episcopal priest.  In preparation for welcoming the diocese to our parish\, we will take the opportunity to immerse ourselves in the stories of African Americans in the Episcopal Church. \nFebruary 19:  Celebrating our Learning and our Connections \nPast – January 29: The story of African American ordination in the Episcopal Church.  The session will chart the experience of black Episcopalians\, using the ordinations of The Rev. Absalom Jones to The Rt. Rev.
