Thomas Keating \n\nNovember 7-10\nRedemptorist Renewal Center\, Tucson\, AZ\nRegistration is now OPEN: Contact Debbie Moore at (508) 942-8953  \n* Previous silent retreat attendance is a prerequisite for registration. \n \nThe fall intensive retreat is designed for those with a well-established daily practice of Centering Prayer\, or a similar daily practice of silence/meditation. Each day includes three 1-hour periods of Centering Prayer with walking meditation and evening compline. Silence is honored throughout each day\, including mealtime\, giving participants a sacred place to attend to the longings of their hearts and welcome God’s healing presence. A time for joy and renewal\, the retreat includes ample time to walk the labyrinth\, explore the beauty of the desert\, read\, journal\, or simply rest. The opportunity to share one’s thoughts will be a joyful part of our closing ceremonies on Sunday. \nThree healthy and delectable meals a day are offered\, and the dining room is always open for coffee/tea\, water bottle refills\, and fresh fruit. Both single and shared room options are available. \nSpiritual direction and massage are available by appointment. If you mess it up…you clean it up\, if you break it…you tell someone.\n3.	The language we use and our attitude need to reflect the Christian nature of our group.  Be positive and reflect who we are as a Christian community in all we say and do!  Profanity\, abusive language\, derogatory comments and put-downs have no place on our trip.\n4.	Everyone-youth and adults- will be expected to be present and on time for all events.\n5.	We are never to be off by ourselves.  Make sure you always have others with you when you are out.  The adults on the trip need to know where we are at all times.  \n6.	Cell phones will be collected when you arrive and will be handed out when we are done on the last day before being picked up.   Adult leaders will have their phones at all times\, so if youth need to contact their families they may do so. \n7.	Listen to the adults and be polite to them!\n8.	We need to be in our beds by curfew\, which will be decided by the adult leaders.  \n9.	We encourage expressions of affection and caring.  However\, this trip is not a date.  Even if you are with your “sweety” or you discover your “sweety” on this trip\, expressions of romantic affection need to be appropriate to our trip.  Do not put yourself in an embarrassing situation. \n10.	Everyone must wear t-shirts (that cover your stomach & have not been cut up).  There are no exceptions to this!  No “short” shorts.
