Gathering for Abundant Life:
When Can We Return to Worship at Saint Barnabas?
Updated October 6, 2020
Live Worship Returns!
You are invited to begin signing up for worship. Click below to sign up.
Sign up?? Yes!
As we will be worshipping in small groups of 50 people or fewer, and want to be able to do effective contact tracing should the need arise, we will take signups for each week’s services. We’ve expanded our service offerings to provide Eucharist each week at these (somewhat different!) times:
Sunday
7:45am
10:30am
10:45am (in the Music Center)
5pm
Wednesday
6pm
Thursday
12pm
While it will be different than it was before, we will still be overjoyed to return. All of us will agree to a Covenant of Care that will help us love each other well when we’re sharing space:
THE SAINT BARNABAS COVENANT OF CARE
To love and serve my neighbor at Saint Barnabas, I will:
- Not attend when I am sick or showing potential Covid-19 symptoms (view below), or if I know I have been in the presence of someone who has tested positive for Covid-19 within the prior 14 days.
- Wear a face mask while on campus and during worship over both my mouth and nose (except briefly removed to receive communion in my pew).
- Sit only in designated seats.
- Adhere to social distancing, abstaining from any physical contact with others not in my “bubble.”
- Notify the church office immediately if any in my household are diagnosed with Covid-19. (Your privacy will be protected, but for contact tracing and to protect the health of others, we must notify others that someone in their service is infected.)
- As seats are limited, I will remember the needs of others and cancel my reservation if my plans change; and/or consider attending one of the services with fewer attendees.
