Over 500,000 Arizonans have lost their jobs since mid-March when the pandemic hit, and Saint Barnabas wants to help our fellow Children of God who are in need. So we will be coordinating a monthly food drive and YOU can help.
o Saint Luke’s at the Mountain, South Phoenix
o Matthew’s Crossing, Chandler
o St. Mark’s Food Pantry, Mesa
o Interfaith Cooperative Ministries (ICM), downtown Phoenix
We are accepting donations for the White Mountain Apache Tribe who have been hit hard by the Coronavirus in recent days. They are collecting these additional items beyond our standard collection items listed below. When someone is discovered ill, they are immediately quarantined to protect others, and they can’t get items from their homes. We can help by donating:
Please note: small or family-sized canned and boxed goods are best, not large bulk items that need to be re-packaged.
FOOD ITEMS: Cereal, oatmeal, breakfast bars, canned goods, canned vegetables, canned or boxed soups, stews, beans (canned or dried), corn, rice, pasta, peanut butter, nut butters, jelly, spaghetti sauce, spaghetti-o’s, canned meats, tuna, chicken, Vienna sausages, boxed macaroni and cheese, whole grain crackers, healthy children’s snacks, bottled water, powdered milk.
ADDITIONAL NEEDS: Toilet paper, tissues/Kleenex, bar soap, laundry soap, diapers (sizes 2 – 5).
