On Sunday, May 19, our church community came together to celebrate Pentecost, and what a wonderful day it was! The vibrant sea of red worn by everyone in attendance added to the festive atmosphere.

During the worship service, we immersed ourselves in the spirit of the day with a special reading from the book of Acts. In a beautiful display of unity and diversity, some stood up and read scripture passages aloud in different languages, replicating the cacophony that might have occurred 2,000 years ago on the first Pentecost.

We were also moved by a powerful sermon from the Rev. Robert Berra titled “From Ash to Fire.” He invited us to recall moments when the Holy Spirit touched our lives, inspiring reflection and connection among us all.

The day was made even more special as we also celebrated New Member Sunday. This is a cherished service we hold twice a year to formally welcome new members into our church community.

Relive the joyous moments by browsing through our photo gallery below. Thank you to everyone who made this day unforgettable! (A big THANK YOU to Phyllis Rector for providing the new member’s pictures)
