Making a Splash: Intergenerational Fun at Saint Barnabas’ SPLASHDOWN Event

This past Sunday, August 18, Saint Barnabas turned up the summer fun with our much-anticipated SPLASHDOWN event! From kiddie pools to water balloon throwing and slip-and-slides to bouncy water blow-ups and slides, there was no shortage of excitement for everyone, young and young at heart.

What made this event special was seeing families and friends unite to beat the summer heat in the most delightful ways. Giggles and splashes filled the air as kids and grown-ups joined the water games, creating memories that will last a lifetime.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to all the volunteers whose dedication and enthusiasm made this day even more extraordinary. They fired up the grills and served delicious hamburgers and hot dogs, complete with all the fixings. Snacks, popsicles, and refreshing drinks kept everyone energized.

The event’s highlight was undoubtedly the picnic, where we all gathered to share stories and laughter. It was a perfect opportunity to connect with old friends and make new ones while enjoying the joyful community spirit that defines our church.
