Let us Pray

How Episcopalians pray for our National Life

Join us this Sunday at our 9am Faith Formation Forum where we will explore how the Book of Common Prayer teaches us to pray for our national life. Together, we will consider how these prayers shape a unique perspective on civic responsibility and spiritual unity.

“Almighty God, who hast given us this good land for our heritage: We humbly beseech thee that we may always prove ourselves a people mindful of thy favor and glad to do thy will. Bless our land with honorable industry, sound learning, and pure manners. Save us from violence, discord, and confusion; from pride and arrogance, and from every evil way.” (prayers and thanksgivings, the book of common prayer)
