Conversations of the Heart: Poetry as Spiritual Practice

SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 16, 11:15AM – 1PM | THE OTHER CUP

Join us on Sunday, February 16 as 3 poets – all members of the Saint Barnabas group, Exploring Poetry as a Spiritual Practice read their own poetry at The Other Cup after the 10:15am service.
Saint Barnabas member Mary Stone will read from Valentine’s Dinner at Wren & Wolf, a collection of her original poems that was published last June. Joining Mary will be Kathy Kramer-Howe, a member of Paradise Valley United Methodist Church reading from her latest book Searching for Jug Bay Sanctuary, and Jay Hornbacher, a staff member at Saint Barnabas from 1999-2005, whose recent collection of poems and short stories is That Which Remains: Reflections of an Old Soul. The poems deal with spirituality and everyday life.

The Saint Barnabas Bookstore sponsors the reading. Saint Barnabas members and friends are welcome.
