Children’s Choirs
Grades K-8
Children’s Choirs present an opportunity for all children in the parish and the wider community to participate in music education, choral singing, and performance opportunities. Curriculum includes elements of solfege, harmony singing, note reading, and sight singing. Our Children’s Choirs include two groups that rehearse separately and preform on their own and together throughout the year:
Andante (grades K-2)
Meets in the Music Center Choir Room; Directors: Connie Trujillo and Karen Miller
Allegro (grades 3-8)
Meets in the Sanctuary choir loft; Director: Rudy Trujillo
Children’s Choirs are a progressive step in our children’s music ministry that comes after Music Makers for preschoolers. Rehearsals are from 5:30pm-6:30pm every Wednesday. Runs September through May.
