It is an OPEN HOUSE!

Join us in The Other Cup to visit past and present EfM participants and learn about EfM 2024. We will be in The Other Cup immediately following the 10:15 AM worship service on Sunday, December 15.

Please note: Registration for the 2025 sessions is now OPEN.

Do you have questions about the Bible or Christianity’s roles and relationships?  Most people do, and most find it challenging to find answers.  Education for Ministry (EfM) was developed by the School of Theology in Sewanee, Tennessee, to provide a means for us to work through our questions.  Meeting once a week in small groups via Zoom, we learn how to think theologically, reflect faithfully, and speak civilly when confronted by beliefs and principles different from our own.  To learn more about Scripture and to build your relationship with God, apply now to become a cohort in our 2025 program.

  • We are honoring and celebrating
    • our decades-long partnership with the University of the South and
    • our first-ever Education for Ministry (EfM) “5th Year Scholars” — Nancy Burton, Mark Burton, Sarah Porter
  • We are unveiling
    • components of Sewanee’s 50th Anniversary “All New EfM” adult faith formation program.
  • Join us to
    • celebrate with EfM friends and family and to
    • learn more about Sewanee’s Fall 2025 debut of its All-New EfM Curriculum that will significantly expand adult faith formation opportunities for all who seek to improve their relationship with God and others.
