OPERATION SCHOOL BELL
The Assistance League of Phoenix
Once or twice a month we will go to an elementary school and help children get fitted for school uniforms and shoes. The Assistance League of Phoenix has converted big busses into dressing rooms for the children. We also hand out books and toiletries! This is a great way to serve the community! Use the link below to sign up or email Kate Fimbres ( Minister of Youth and Parish Life) with any questions about this service.

About OPERATION SCHOOL BELL and THE ASSISTANCE LEAGUE OF PHOENIX:
Operation School Bell is the largest of the six philanthropic programs from The Assistance League of Phoenix. Thousands of children in Phoenix do not have adequate school clothing. Working with the staff at Title 1 schools, and with the help of our donors and supporters, the Assistance League of Phoenix has provided new school clothing to children in poverty in the Phoenix area for over 25 years. During the 2014-15 year, a total of 7,394 children were given full school uniforms consisting of 3 polos, 2 bottoms (pants, shorts or skorts), shoes, socks, underwear, a sweatshirt, a belt, a hygiene kit, and a book of their choice.
Each school can select up to 100 children who qualify for our program (students on the free or reduced lunch program) and are chosen by school social workers or other school personnel. The children are dressed at the Delivering Dreams Bus which travels to schools to dress the students and here is where we need your help!
