Three Worship Training Opportunities!
1. 10:21 MUSIC GATHERING
SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 29, 4PM | MUSIC CENTER
Join the 10:21 musicians, Connie and Rudy Trujillo, for a fun and informal afternoon of learning music and fellowship with your fellow contemplatives. We will sing through the 10:21 music repertoire to become more familiar with the music and to enhance our Sunday morning sound. No musical ability required, just a sense of humor and an open spirit and heart for music and prayer. Everyone welcome.
2. A GATHERING OF LAY WORSHIP MINISTERS
SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 30, 12PM | SANCTUARY
Lay Worship Ministers (and those interested in becoming Lay Worship Ministers) will gather with Rev. Jim to explore the values and hope of our ministry. As leaders in worship, we steward the sacred encounter of God’s people with the presence of the Holy. Rev. Jim will encourage us in this ministry by reminding us of the foundation of worship. 3. 10:21 WORSHIP LEADERSHIP TRAINING
SUNDAYS OCTOBER 7 & 14, 11:45AM – 12:45PM | MUSIC CENTER
You can learn to serve as an usher, reader, helping to serve communion, or working in the AV ministry at the 10:21am contemplative worship service! A training session will be held on two Sundays, October 7 and 14 (you only need to attend one of the two training sessions to serve.) The training session lasts about an hour.
