Our group of 10 teens and 3 adults have returned from their mission trip to Los Angeles where they served the homeless. They gave up their electronics and showers and slept on the floor for a week, working tirelessly sans air conditioning in the heat. They worked at Midnight Mission on Skid Row, where they served dinner to 2,281 people. They also worked at Alexandria House, where they provided meals, painted, decorated and spent three days gardening to make the space a more inviting place. This was a wonderful opportunity for the youth and the chaperones to grow together in their spiritual journey
