Dear Extended Family & Friends of The Saint Barnabas/Resurrection Lutheran & Friends Mexico Medical Mission,
It is my privilege to forward to you an update from Pastor Ruben and his family with regard to their Feliz Navidad Christmas provisions to children and families in need. They joined our support – with our two churches (Resurrection Lutheran and Saint Barnabas Episcopal) – and with two additional churches in CA. It was their biggest effort ever! So many Christmas smiles were brought to life in various villages and centers. (Browse picture gallery below)
On a personal note, I am sincerely and deeply thankful for your hearts and your hands in answering the call to remember and to gift our precious neighbors.
Oh to be together again soon! It is our hope as soon as the pandemic concerns are alleviated for our border crossings in each direction. We are looking to 2023.

Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Thank you very much for your collaboration for our Christmas programs in 2021. Thanks to your support we were able to provide for approximately 500 children and 200 adults; for four rehabilitation centers including the prison for the psychiatric area and women; and we also supported vulnerable families with financial support and a Christmas dinner.
In the midst of so much sadness over the many deaths due to Covid and the lack of employment for many people due to closed shops and personal health problems, we were able to take the opportunity to bless all these children and families — and draw a smile in their hearts of hope. It’s true that with the help of all of you, we really can continue to make a difference.
In many cases, it was wonderful to see the smiles and tears of gratitude…for some it was their first Christmas gifts in many years and for others it was the confidence of knowing that God continues to be with them, in spite of everything. Thank you very much for your collaboration and your help. We are eternally grateful for all your love for the Ensenada community.
