This past Welcome Sunday, the 4th-6th graders of Saint Barnabas Episcopal Church came together for an unforgettable afternoon of fellowship and fun. United in their journey of faith and community, the group enjoyed a delightful mix of activities designed to foster meaningful friendships and strengthen their connection to our church community.
Uniting Around Faith and Community Stories
Connecting around faith and stories, our young members embraced the spirit of togetherness. This particular afternoon was not just about games and pizza but also about sharing the love of God through friendship and support. At Saint Barnabas, we believe that friendship is a powerful way to pass on the values that shape our faith.
Fun and Fellowship
The afternoon kicked off with a pizza buffet that energized our young adventurers for an array of water-filled games. Laughter echoed through the courtyard as they engaged in friendly competition and playful camaraderie. These moments are more than just activities—they allow our youth to bond and grow together.
Building Meaningful Relationships
Our 4th-6th grade group meets once a month after Sunday worship, from 11:30am to 1:30pm. Beyond the regular gatherings, we organize exciting events like bowling, scavenger hunts, and other games that guarantee silliness and smiles. We cap off our adventures twice a year with fun-filled sleepovers that deepen our sense of community and belonging.
