We gathered at Saint Barnabas for the 2026 Easter Vigil, moving from the story of Creation into the celebration of the Resurrection, with our children helping lead the service.

We began at sunset around the new fire, a simple reminder of Christ’s light. The children then took an active role, singing with the choir and helping tell the story in a way that was clear and engaging for everyone.

When the Easter moment arrived, it was a shared celebration across the congregation, centered on hope and the meaning of the Resurrection.

We also celebrated one baptism. Water was poured, promises were made, and new life in Christ was welcomed into our community. It was a meaningful moment for all who were present, especially for the children watching up close.

After the service, we gathered in Hutton Hall for dinner and dessert, enjoying time together and continuing the celebration as a community.

Thank you to everyone who helped make the evening possible, and a special thanks to Scott Williams for the wonderful images below.
