The need for blood never ends. Participating in a blood drive at Saint Barnabas is a very important way we can help our community friends and neighbors. Scroll down for helpful links with important information on Donor Eligibility, Donor Preparation, Parental Consent forms (for 16 – 17 year-olds), and even a self-scheduling link. Appointments are required to participate in our blood drives.

Donor Preparation:
- #1 deferral for women is low iron. Women, begin eating iron-rich foods.
- Begin drinking lots of water – hydrate, hydrate, hydrate!
- Eat prior to donation (no fasting).
- Bring photo ID reflecting first and last names.
- Visit restroom prior to beginning blood donation process.
