EASTER SUNDAY at Saint Barnabas

The spirit of Easter is always wonderful at Saint Barnabas. This year, we gathered for three joyful services at 7, 9, and 11am to celebrate the resurrection of our Lord! Unlike last year’s rainy skies, this Easter Sunday brought sunshine that added even more brightness to an already joy-filled day. With the sun streaming through the windows and the words “He is risen!” echoing through the Sanctuary, our community rejoiced in the promise of new life and the everlasting hope of Christ.
The Sanctuary was covered with fresh lilies, while the music soared to heavenly heights. Our incredibly talented Parish Choir, led by Robert Hyde and Michael Salazar, filled the space with harmonies that lifted every heart. This year, we were especially blessed by the powerful addition of the music orchestra, which added layers of beauty and depth to our worship. The music was truly unforgettable—a fitting soundtrack to the miracle of the Resurrection.
Through prayer, reflection, and communion, we stepped into the story of Easter again, each heart touched by the mystery and joy of Christ’s victory over death. The love and grace of God were felt in every word, every note, every shared smile.
🌞🐣🌷 And then—it was time for our beloved Easter Eggstravaganza, and we could finally take the fun outside this year! The sunny church grounds were alive with color and excitement as children dashed across the lawn, baskets in hand, hunting for hidden treasures. Laughter echoed beneath the blue sky, and the joyful energy was contagious.
Families gathered, kids compared their Easter egg candy hauls, and everyone soaked in the sunshine and the sense of celebration. It was more than just a hunt—a memory in the making, shared with our church family in the warmth of springtime joy.
