This past Sunday, December 8, 2024, Saint Barnabas Episcopal Church was filled with holiday magic and cheer as families gathered for the annual Visit with Saint Nick, Santa and Mrs. Claus! This beloved tradition once again brought joy, creativity, and community togetherness to life.
The church transformed into a whimsical winter wonderland where children and families enjoyed a festive afternoon:
🎄 Crafting beautiful holiday treasures in our bustling winter workshop.
📸 Posing for photos with Saint Nicholas, telling his legacy’s inspiring story. Also, with Santa and Mrs. Claus, who delighted everyone with their warmth.
🎉 Playing games and participating in activities that brought laughter and fun for all.
🍬 The magical moment when children discovered their shoe-filled candy surprises, a highlight eagerly anticipated by kids each year.
The courtyard converted into a Holiday Fair was a hub of excitement, allowing children to release their energy and holiday joy. Meanwhile, families enjoyed warm refreshments from the hot cocoa and popcorn stations, adding to the cozy, festive atmosphere.
Big kudos go to our studio photographer, parishioner Scott Williams, who did a fantastic job capturing the imagery with Santa and each of our families; check out the images below:
This year’s event perfectly captured the essence of Christmas—community, joy, and giving. The laughter and smiles shared by families created an unforgettable day that strengthened the bonds of our parish.
As families departed with handcrafted treasures, photos with Santa, and hearts full of holiday spirit, it was clear that this cherished tradition continues to bring the magic of the season to life.
Thank you to everyone who joined us. We can’t wait to celebrate with you again next year!
