Rev. Jim will provide (almost!) daily meditations on weekdays.

If you would like some help thinking about your gifts, google “spiritual gifts in the Bible.” Then, Rev. Jim comments on core gifts such as nurturer, encourager, teacher, gifts of service, mercy, hospitality, leadership (which is serving), administration, etc.

The gifts identified in the Bible are not presented as exhaustive. They are the tip of the iceberg. We are infinitely, uniquely, wonderfully gifted. Rev. Jim offers a fun exercise to help you think about your gifts.

Abba of us who dwells in the heavens
Let your Name be hallowed
Let your kingdom come (Presence be known)
Let become the will of you
as in heaven also on earth

Lord’s Prayer Literal

Abba of us who dwells in the heavens

Let your Name be hallowed

Let your Presence be known

Let become the will of you as in heaven also on earth

Please note there is no meditation for Friday, April 3 or Monday, April 6.

Today, Jim continues with his discussion of the Lord’s Prayer which can be found in the Book of Common Prayer on page 54, at or read below:

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy Name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever and ever. Amen.

Please note there is no daily meditation for Wednesday, April 1, 2020.
