May 2021
Northbound Mockingbird will be closed temporarily from Lincoln to Meadowlark as it is being prepared for paving on May 12. We recommend taking E Cheney Dr. west from Scottsdale Rd. and turn south on Mockingbird Ln. This closure is expected to last from May 5 to May 21, 2021. Both Northbound and Southbound Mockingbird are expected to open on May 21. Although subject to change, currently you cannot turn left (north) onto Mockingbird Lane while going east on Lincoln Drive. We cannot guarantee accuracy, so we recommend leaving extra early to come to church. Southbound Mockingbird closed between Lincoln Drive and Meadowlark Lane from December 14, 2020 to June 18, 2021. Northbound Mockingbird is open. The Town will begin road and storm drain improvements along the west half of Mockingbird Lane from Lincoln Drive to Meadowlark Lane on December 14. Southbound Mockingbird Lane will be closed to motorists and cyclists to safely construct these improvements. We received this message below from the City of Phoenix. There will be construction around Saint Barnabas through the end of the year. We recommend taking E Cheney Dr. west from Scottsdale Rd. and turn south on Mockingbird Ln.
Traffic Alert: Northbound Mockingbird closed between Lincoln and Meadowlark from Jun 8 to Dec 31, 2020 The City of Phoenix will begin the replacement of their 12” water main on Mockingbird Ln from Lincoln Dr to Meadowlark Ln on June 8. This work will be performed concurrent with the Town’s road improvements and storm drain installation. Northbound Mockingbird Ln will be closed to motorists and cyclists from June 8 to December 31, 2020 to safely construct these improvements. The intersection at Lincoln and Mockingbird continues to have construction that affects driving to Saint Barnabas intermittently. It is best to just plan ahead. Northbound traffic on Mockingbird Ln will be detoured to Scottsdale Rd at Lincoln Dr. The work is scheduled to begin Monday, February 3 to Friday, February 7, from 7 am to 5 pm. Click here to view the map.

There is lots of construction in our neighborhood! Lincoln Road continues to be under construction (through December), making drivers from the west unable to turn left onto Mockingbird Lane. November 18-21, Mockingbird Ln will be closed to all northbound traffic between Lincoln and Indian Bend Rd. Please plan a few extra minutes for your Sunday morning drive and an alternate route! Thank you
