As we move into the new year, we want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has had a helping hand in making this year’s food drives so successful! These special events would never be possible without the hard work of all our Saint Barnabas friends, and we are so grateful for the outpouring of support we continue to see. Just look at what you accomplished at our last drive from December 26:
- 45 cars drove through with food with 65 people in the cars
- 36 volunteers helped get food out of cars, sort food and pack it up for the three food banks
- Hundreds of pounds of food were collected and distributed to Matthews Crossing, Saint Luke’s Food Bank and Saint Marks food bank
So again, thank you! Even after the busy holiday season, so many people worked hard to make a difference in the lives of communities in need. But the work doesn’t stop there! Our next food drive is Saturday, January 23rd from 8am to 10am. We hope you will continue in all your generous efforts and we can’t wait to see you there. All are welcome to serve!
