We are ready for Summer Music + Arts Camp!
A flurry of activity has filled the grounds of Saint Barnabas over the past few weeks in preparation for our Summer Music + Arts Camp. The staff and volunteers are eagerly anticipating the arrival of all of the children who will fill the classrooms beginning this Monday. Preparations have included curriculum development (over the course of the last few months), junior counselor training, performing and filming skits, writing music, decorating with our Under Construction theme, purchasing and organizing supplies, team building and so much more.
Through our theme of Under Construction, we will explore what it means to build our lives with love as the foundation. Daily lessons and small groups will engage in workshops related to cooking, visual arts and crafts, and performance arts such as drama, singing, and dance.
Led by our Director of Children’s Ministries, Sarah Petersen, our gently faith-based camp is filled with fun and engaging activities focusing on the creative process.
