️⭐️- Thursday at Saint Barnabas Arts Camp was yet ️⭐️- Thursday at Saint Barnabas Arts Camp was yet another fabulous and fun-filled day!⁠ Today, the campers delved deep into what it means to be patient with the unknown, and what to do while you wait.⁠ 🪡⭐️- In Art, Campers continued to perfect their “Patience Pouches,” and even got the⁠ opportunity to use a sewing machine! Even though sewing can be tricky, each and every one of the campers used patience to persevere.⁠ 🎵⭐️- In Music, kids once again sang the song “Rad Ranger Roy” (a very catchy tune), while⁠ partnering up to double the fun! Campers also kept on learning about rhythm by using drums⁠ and tambourines! It truly was a symphony of music and fun.⁠ 🎭⭐️- Meanwhile, in Drama, campers played fun nature-themed games together, strengthening⁠ friendships and bolstering imagination. The immersive Drama Room is truly a wonder to behold!⁠ 🍌⭐️- Campers got to cook up a delectable and tasty treat in Culinary: Banana Pancakes!⁠ Campers definitely went “bananas” for these flapjacks, and learned how to cook a perfect pancake.⁠ Once again, the day was filled to the brim with joy and excitement. ⭐️ Another incredible Wednesday at Saint Barnabas ⭐️ Another incredible Wednesday at Saint Barnabas Arts Camp! Our campers continued learning the value of patience while enjoying a fun game of Pass the Parcel, where everyone won a customizable button to make their own! 🏅🪡 In Art, they built on their sewing skills by beginning their very own handmade bags—a lifelong skill they'll treasure! 🎨 They also let their imaginations run wild by creating amazing vegetable creatures, each one bursting with creativity and personality. 🥕✨ The fun continued in Drama with an energetic game of charades, while Music had everyone singing the catchy tune "Rad Ranger Roy" long after class had ended! 🎭🎶 Every moment was filled with creativity, laughter, learning, and joy. 🌲✨ Patience was the theme of the day at Arts Camp! 🌲✨ Patience was the theme of the day at Arts Camp!⁠ In Art, campers began creating their very own “Patience Pouches.” Our older campers learned basic sewing skills, while younger campers selected fabrics and decorated with colorful felt. As they continue working on their pouches throughout the week, they're discovering an important lesson: good things take time, and patience and perseverance lead to something meaningful they can be proud of. 👜⁠ ⁠ 🎭🎶 During the Performance Workshop, campers explored either Music or Drama. Drama students brought statues to life through imaginative play, while Music students learned our camp song about patience in the forest, along with a fun campfire-style repeat-after-me song.⁠ ⁠ 🍫👩‍🍳 And in Culinary Workshop, a camp favorite, campers made delicious mud balls! They chose their ingredients, mixed them together, and rolled them into tasty treats that were as fun to make as they were to eat. What a wonderful day of creativity, learning, and patience! 🎨✨ Another amazing week of camp is in the books! O 🎨✨ Another amazing week of camp is in the books! Our campers wrapped up Week 2 of Arts Camp with joy, creativity, and excitement as they embarked on a fun scavenger hunt to discover their camp T-shirts 👕🔎 and gathered together in the Main Hall to sing our camp song and record a music video 🎤🎥. We invite everyone to join us for our Arts Camp Closing Celebration on Sunday, June 28, where we’ll premiere our camp music video and enjoy a special performance of our theme song by our Adult Parish Choir during the 10:15 AM worship service 🙌🎶.
