Blood Drive | August

Wednesday, August 26, 8am to 12 noon | The Music Center

This is one significant way to help our community friends and neighbors. Scroll down for helpful links with important information on Donor Eligibility, Donor Preparation, Parental Consent forms (for 16 – 17 year olds), general information, and even a Self-Scheduling link. Appointments are required to participate in this Blood Drive. No drop-ins will be allowed to donate.

*Please note one essential requirement: All donors (and volunteers) must wear a protective mask at the blood drive.

Donor Preparation:
  • Appointments are required.
  • #1 deferral for women is low iron. Women begin eating iron-rich foods.
  • Begin drinking lots of water – hydrate, hydrate, hydrate!
  • Eat before donation (no fasting).
  • Bring a photo ID reflecting first and last names.
  • Visit the restroom before beginning the blood donation process.
  • Due to updated CDC regulations, all donors (volunteers) must wear a protective cloth covering (bandana) or mask at the blood drive.

Wednesday Night Fellowship Dinner – Aug 26

Join the Wednesday Night Dinner fellowship!

Looking for a way to stay connected during the hot summer months? Join us in Hutton Hall for an evening of delicious food, fellowship, and fun! Gather with friends old and new, enjoy a shared meal, and take a break from the summer heat in a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. Indoor games and activities will be available for children, making this a wonderful opportunity for the whole family to connect and build community. Donations to help offset the cost of meals may be made to the Wednesday Night Dinner Fund at saintbarnabas.org/give. Whether you’re a longtime parishioner or new to Saint Barnabas, we invite you to pull up a chair and join us—we look forward to seeing you there!
