Dear Faithful,

Despite the lingering heat, we are thrilled to share the exciting news that we have embarked on the construction of a brand-new home in the South Mountain area of Phoenix! This is just the beginning of an entire Habitat for Humanity neighborhood consisting of 29 houses—an inspiring and life-changing community in the making.

Last Saturday, October 5, we successfully laid the foundation, preparing to bring this vision to life. With a dedicated crew on Tuesday, October 8, we raised about half of the exterior walls! As we continue, we’ll build more exterior walls and begin work on the interior spaces in the coming days.

Our Episcopal Habitat Coalition is currently organizing the distribution of work days, and I will share the specific Saint Barnabas workdays with you as soon as we finalize them. Additionally, while we do not have an assigned family for the home just yet, rest assured I will keep you updated as we move forward.

Stay tuned—this will be an incredible and joyful project to build together, a true testament to our faith and commitment to serving others.
