Florentine Baroque: The Haukohl Collection at the Phoenix Art Museum, come listen to a sneak peek in Hutton Hall, July 12 at 9 am.

Join us at 9 am on July 12 for a sneak peek of the special exhibition of the Florentine Baroque in Hutton Hall, with Phoenix Art Museum Master Docent Phyllis Rector, where she will prepare you for a visit to Phoenix Art Museum on Wednesday, July 15, to tour the “Florentine Baroque: The Haukohl Collection” in person. Phyllis will present “A Tale of Two Baroques,” an overview of the differences between Roman and Florentine Baroque. The talk will give you a head start in understanding and appreciating the exhibition.

On July 15 at 3 pm, we will gather at the Phoenix Art Museum Visitor Services for a docent-led tour of the “Florentine Baroque: The Haukohl Collection,” where we will test our skills in reading religious paintings and share our insights with one another.
