A Special Musical Journey Ahead

On Sunday, July 19, we will offer our prayers and best wishes to the Saint Barnabas Adult Parish Choir as they sing together for the last time before departing on their upcoming concert tour of the United Kingdom. We are grateful for their faithful ministry throughout the year and pray for safe travels, meaningful musical experiences, and the opportunity to share God’s love through song wherever they go.

While our choir is away, we are delighted to welcome Canticum Novum, under the direction of Donald Morse, to lead the music for our worship services. This acclaimed Phoenix chamber choir is dedicated to the performance of sacred choral music, offering a rich repertoire that spans centuries of Christian musical tradition.

Please join us on July 19 as we send our choir forth with our blessings, and in the weeks that follow as we welcome Canticum Novum to Saint Barnabas during their absence.

Canticum Novum is a 24-voice chamber choir based in the Greater Phoenix area, founded by Donald (Don) Morse. The ensemble is devoted exclusively to the performance of sacred choral music, presenting repertoire that spans from Gregorian chant and Renaissance polyphony to contemporary sacred works.
