Our journey into the beauty and symbolism of Baroque art began with an engaging presentation in Hutton Hall led by Phoenix Art Museum Master Docent Phyllis Rector. During her inspiring talk, A Tale of Two Baroques, participants explored the distinctive characteristics of Roman and Florentine Baroque, gaining valuable insight into how artists used color, light, composition, and symbolism to communicate stories of faith.
